Our Past Events

We are a local group who are eager to encourage more commitment to the care of the environment. We can do this through more thoughtful use of materials like plastic and chemicals, and less waste. We all have a part to play.

Baldock Ecofest 2021 Report

Saturday 30th October 2021 10am-3pm, Baldock High Street
The EcoFest went off well in spite of threatening weather forecasts which may have kept some people away. We had lots of people engaging with the chat stalls and investigating stalls selling eco-friendly goods. There were interesting children’s activities on several stalls and a good raffle.
If you missed it don’t worry – we’re thinking of holding another EcoFest maybe in May next year as part of the Baldock Festival so keep an eye on the website and facebook. You could also contact us at baldockbeatswaste@gmail.com to get irregular newsletters about what we’re up to.
See you, Christine and the team (Photos below by Laurence Browne)
